How is it made?

Our small team of artists creates custom portraits digitally, following a process that emulates traditional painting while remaining fully digital. This approach makes each piece easy to adapt to various formats—phone cases, apparel, pillows, photo paper, postcards, or digital media. Can you combine multiple photos into one portrait?

Yes, we can combine several photos into a single portrait. In most cases, we can merge them naturally.

What animals can you draw?

We can draw any animal—dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, turtles, fish…if you can think of it, we can do it.

Can you draw portraits and other subjects?

Yes. We can create portraits, landscapes, cars, decorative objects, and more. If you have a custom request for another item, please contact us to discuss a bespoke piece

Will I preview my artwork before shipping?

Yes, once the artwork is ready we'll email you the proof.

From there you can request revisions or approve the artwork for fulfillment.

Can I preview my artwork before it ships?

Your artwork will be ready within 2–3 days of placing your order—often sooner. When it’s ready, you’ll receive an email notification. From there, you can request edits or approve the artwork to move forward. Please review your preview within 3 days of receiving it. If we don’t receive your approval or edit request within those 3 days, we’ll automatically approve the artwork and proceed with printing and shipping. You can also contact our online support team at any time to check the current status.

Is my photo good enough to use?

If you follow our photo guidelines, then yes—your photo is very likely suitable.

• Make sure the photo is taken in good lighting (outdoor natural light is best).
• Try to shoot with your pet at eye level with the camera.
• They do not have to be looking directly at the lens.
• Capture a close-up so we can see your pet’s unique features.
• Ensure the photo is not blurry.
• Make sure no features (for example, ears!) are cut out of the frame—if they are missing in the original photo, we can’t add them later.
• Check that fur color isn’t distorted by poor lighting. If the fur color in the photo is inaccurate, it will also be inaccurate in the artwork.

We have a dedicated team that reviews photos when orders are submitted. If there’s an issue with your photo, we’ll let you know by email very quickly. If we need a new photo, this may add a few days to your delivery time.

Please note: If you decline to provide a new photo after we’ve advised that the original won’t produce the best quality artwork, we cannot offer a refund. It is your responsibility to ensure you are happy with the photo provided.

Can I cancel my order after placing it?

Because our portraits are custom-made, production begins immediately after the order is placed.To cancel, you must email support@zemstudio.com within 12 hours of ordering; we will process a refund accordingly. After 12 hours, cancellations are no longer possible.

How long will I have to wait for an email response?

In most cases, you should receive a reply within a few hours. During busy periods (such as the holiday shopping season), please allow 24–48 hours.Customer service email: support@zemstudio.com

How long will it take to get a response from online support?

Click the online support icon in the lower-right corner. Online support has the highest priority, and we will handle these inquiries first. You will receive a reply within 1 hour to a few hours, and in most cases within the same day.

What are your shipping times?

Before shipping, you will usually preview your artwork and approve it for printing. Our standard artwork-creation time is 2–3 days (often faster). After you approve the print or any edits, we begin shipping your order.

United States: We expect orders to arrive 1–2 weeks from the purchase date. During peak holidays, transit may be longer, up to 3 weeks.

United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and Europe: We expect orders to arrive within 2 weeks of the purchase date. During peak holidays, transit may be longer, up to 4 weeks.

We currently ship to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and selected European countries.

What are your shipping fees?

  • We offer free worldwide shipping on all orders over US $100.
  • For orders under US $100, we charge a flat US $9.50 shipping fee to the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

Will all my items arrive in the same shipment?

Although we always try to deliver your items together, sometimes one product in your order is finished earlier and ships first.For example, if you order a framed portrait and a phone case, the phone case may arrive separately.If you order any of our vegan-leather pet accessories, please expect those items to be delivered separately as well.

Can I track the shipping progress of my order?

Absolutely. Use the online support chat in the lower-right corner to check your order’s current status. Please note that no tracking information appears until the artwork is created and sent to you for review; tracking becomes available only after the order has shipped.

Do you ship worldwide?

We currently ship to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and most European countries.

Returns/Refunds

Do you offer refunds?

Because each order is completely unique and custom-made for you and your pet, we do not accept returns or provide refunds. If you encounter any issues with your order, please let us know and we will resolve them. Remember that we provide an artwork preview and unlimited revisions before printing so you can be fully satisfied before it goes to print.

If your order is damaged upon arrival, you can contact us through online support or email and include a detailed description of the issue along with clear photos for our reference. Our customer-service team will review the information, follow up with you, and handle the order accordingly.

What if I don’t like the artwork?

We are 100 % committed to ensuring you love your artwork. Once your portrait is finished, we will notify you by email. You have three days to request edits or approve it for printing. If we do not receive a response within three days, we will treat the artwork as approved and proceed with printing. We proudly offer unlimited free revisions so you can be confident you will love your portrait.
